18% of the US population suffers from generalized anxiety. That’s almost 1/5 of the population. That’s huge. Anxiety disorders are highly treatable, yet less than 40% of those suffering receive treatment. Hand in hand with anxiety often comes depression. Yikes.

I had severe anxiety in my early to mid 20s, too. So did Jamie. We have walked the path and came out the other end way more grounded and self confident. Jamie used to be on anti- depressants and was frequently so anxious she would cancel a yoga class she was scheduled to teach last minute. Looking at Jamie today, you see a firm and empowered woman across the table.

Jamie Worster is part of a worldwide network of Yoga Health Coaches. She helps people become more vibrant by making simple shifts in their daily routine. Since 2009 she has supported others through yoga classes, training, mentoring and workshops. She is also a birth and postpartum doula.

Honest and nurturing, she creates safe, supportive and healing communities that activate deep change. She has completed two Yoga Alliance teacher training (Yogaworks 2009 + Ashaya Yoga 2012).

Jamie lives and plays near the ocean and mountains in Maine with her husband and son. Her favorite place to BE is floating in the salty goodness of the ocean, including dips in the frosty winter months in Maine.
